AWS, RSD and Dual-polarization radar for Meranti (2016)

MerantiThe data files named by "rsd_rain_XX" is for the 6-minite-rain rate of 10-20 mm hr^-1 and 20-30 mm hr^-1 in inner rainband and eyewall of typhoon Meranti (2016) from distrometers at Xiang'an and Tong'an, Xiamen, Fujian Province, China. The data is in ".txt" format and is under quantity control. The variables embedded are 6-minute averaged rain rate (1st column), and the correspongding 1-minute parameters, inlcuding part (21, 22: inner rainband; 3: eyewall), rain rate (mm hr^-1), LWC (g m^-3), reflectivity (dBZ), total number concentration (m^-3), Dm (mm), lg(Nw) (mm⁶m^-3) and rainfall type (0: stratiform; 1: convective) The files named by "time_variables_CAPPI" is for the dual-polarization radar data at Xiamen, Fujian Province, China. The data is interpolated onto the grid points and under quantity control. The files contains three parameters of horizontal polarization (dBZ), the differential reflectivity (Z_DR) and the specific differential phase (K_DP) The file named by "rr_2016091410-2016091502.zip" is a package including 1-minute-rainrate data from automatic weather station in Fujian. The files within the package is named by "rr_station number" Each file contains the date (1st column: yyyymmddhh), minute (2nd column) and corresponding rain rate.
