Mixed-Item AI Literacy Instrument for University Entry (Version 1.0)

This repository contains Version 1.0 of a mixed-item-format AI literacy assessment instrument designed for university entry diagnostics. The instrument combines 13 Likert-type self-report items across cognitive, behavioural, affective, and ethical dimensions with embedded performance-oriented indicators, including a selected-response knowledge item and two open-response prompts. The instrument was developed and evaluated within the research project KoVEKI at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and is described in the extended abstract: “Assessing AI Literacy at University Entry: A Mixed-Item Diagnostic Instrument”, presented at CHI EA 2026.
