The autophagy of sea cucumbers is usually triggered by the degradation of microorganisms within themselves. This process not only impacts the nutritional value of sea cucumbers but also leads to serious economic losses. To investigate the cause of this phenomenon, we isolated and purified a bacterial strain from the hydrolyzed instant sea cucumber samples.The identified strain was Lysinibacillus xylanilyticus and the genome of Lysinibacillus xylanilyticus.
