HydroThiem observatory, located in the humid eastern coast of New Caledonia is devoted the study of impact of invasive ungulate species and bushfires on the amount of water resource, erosion and water quality in a catchment used for drinking water. Data from this observatory can be used as a comparison with other catchments submitted to different or similar disturbances
