Illumina sequencing of Drosophila melanogaster for benchmarking third-generation sequencing biases

This project provides Illumina sequencing data for Drosophila melanogaster (iso-1 strain) to investigate systematic biases in third-generation sequencing (TGS) technologies. The data were generated as part of a study on sequencing biases in Nanopore and PacBio, which prevent the proper assembly of Y-linked genes.
