18S rDNA pyrosequenced data from Triclosan Spiked Experiment

Roche 454 FLX Titanium produced 18S rDNA amplicons derived from an experiment which examined the vertical migration of benthic biota through triclosan contaminated surficial sediments. \n\nThe primers used were 18S SSU_F04 (5’-GCTTGTCTCAAAGATTAAGCC-3’) and 18S SSU_R22 (5’-GCCTGCTGCCTTCCTTGGA-3’) \n\n\nThe study contained four treatments The treatments were: 1) Field Control with no sediment added; 2) Triclosan Control with reference sediment added from Long Island Sound (LIS); 3) Low Triclosan (30 mg triclosan/kg dry LIS sediment); and 4) High Triclosan (300 mg triclosan/kg dry LIS sediment ).\n\n\nLineage: Data was processed using Qiime and UCLUST.
