The Baroness (Eloise Bousquet de Wagner Wehrborn), Robert Philippson, Ray Elliott (who plays “the young girl”), Emory Johnson, Edwin O. Palmer, and Waldo L.S. Schmitt act in a pirate film, “The Empress of Floreana”, Floreana Island, Galápagos, 1934 January 29. The film is shot by crew from the Velero III (third Pacific voyage), Emory Johnson (director and actor), W. Charles Swett (camera man (Velero III first officer)). The Baroness, Philippson, Elliot, and Johnson also appear not in character. Not in the pirate film but also on the reel are Rudolph Lorenz, Captain Allan Hancock, and crew and scientists from the Velero III.
