SPEARHEAD INTEGRAL Radiation Environment Monitor (IREM) Data
收藏资源简介:
The INTEGRAL_IREM_SPARC_L2_V1 dataset contains Level-2 energetic proton flux measurements generated from observations of the Standard Radiation Environment Monitor (SREM) onboard the INTEGRAL and PLANCK spacecrafts respectively. The data products were derived using an adapted version of the GenCORUM inversion method, which reconstructs differential proton energy spectra from monitor count rates. A detailed description of the base methodology is provided in https://www.swsc-journal.org/articles/swsc/full_html/2018/01/swsc180034/swsc180034.html The dataset provides time-tagged differential omnidirectional proton fluxes in units of cm⁻² s⁻¹ sr⁻¹ MeV⁻¹, in 26 logarithmically spaced energy channels spanning approximately 12.6 MeV to 127 GeV. Each record includes the spacecraft position in the Geocentric Equatorial Inertial (GEI) coordinate system (X, Y, Z in km) together with the proton flux values (fpdo_1 -- fpdo_26) corresponding to the predefined energy channels. Both CDF and CSV files are provided in the .zip file. Each file corresponds to one day. Datafiles span from 2002 to 2022 for INTEGRAL. Each record includes: Timestamp information (year, month, day, hour, minute, second, millisecond). Spacecraft position coordinates (X_GEI, Y_GEI, Z_GEI). Differential particle flux measurements (fpdo_1 to fpdo_26) corresponding to the following energy channels (MeV): 12.576, 18.184, 26.297, 38.026, 54.992, 79.528, 115.009, 166.313, 240.499, 347.811, 503.021, 727.397, 1051.905, 1521.183, 2199.817, 3181.204, 4600.410, 6652.756, 9620.699, 13912.707, 20119.477, 29095.225, 42075.254, 60845.969, 87990.711, and 127245.336 MeV. The dataset is suitable for studies of the near-Earth radiation environment, solar energetic particle events, galactic cosmic rays, space weather characterization, and the validation and development of radiation environment models.
