DEVELOPING SOCIAL ACTIVITY IN PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

This article widely discusses the issue of developing social activity among primary school students based on modern educational requirements. The theoretical foundations of the concept of social activity, as well as its role and significance in the comprehensive development of the student’s personality, are analyzed. It is substantiated that the formation of social activity at the primary education stage is an important factor in developing students’ social adaptation, communication culture, and teamwork skills. The article highlights the effectiveness of interactive methods, group work, role-playing games, and social projects used in classroom and extracurricular activities in increasing students’ social activity. In addition, the importance of pedagogical relationships based on cooperation between teachers and students, creating a positive psychological environment, and motivation mechanisms is emphasized. According to the research results, the development of social activity in primary school students contributes to their formation as independent-thinking, initiative-taking, responsible individuals with an active civic position.
