GCXX regulate gut microbiota of UC mice

In our study, a murine model of UC was induced by dextran sulfate sodium (DSS). The body weight, colon length, disease activity index (DAI) score, histopathological score of colon and inflammatory cytokines in serum were measured to prove that a murine model of UC is successfully established and to assess the therapeutic efficacy of GCXX. At the same time, we also used mesalazine alone or in combination with GCXX to treat UC to compare the efficacy of mesalazine and GCXX. Then, the changes of gut microbiota was detected by 16S rDNA high-throughput gene sequencing technology.
