The accession contains historical bottle data from Instituto Hidrografico, Ministry of the Navy, Lisbon, Portugal. The data was collected using ship USS O'BRIEN as part of Global Ocean Data Archeaology and Rescue (GODAR) project between 1934 and 1974. 32,763 records collected between 1964-1974 in ICES format were received via Robert Gelfeld at NODC.
