Data Supporting Wetlandscape Properties and Phytoplankton Bloom Analysis in Lake Winnipeg

The workbook "Data Supporting Wetlandscape Properties and Phytoplankton Bloom Analysis in Lake Winnipeg.xlsx" contains data used and prepared for the manuscript "Coupled Dynamics of Wetlandscape Properties and Phytoplankton Bloom Magnitude and Extent in Lake Winnipeg" by Forough Fendereski, Irena F. Creed, and Charles G. Trick. It includes time series of phytoplankton bloom magnitude and extent in Lake Winnipeg from 1984 to 2020, annual nutrient loading to Lake Winnipeg, surface temperature over Lake Winnipeg, wetlandscape properties of the Lake Winnipeg sub-watersheds, average nutrient loads from each major river to Lake Winnipeg, and land cover area and percentage over each Lake Winnipeg sub-watershed. The archive "Lake_Winnipeg_Basin_Polygons.zip" contains two vector polygon shapefiles used to generate mean and median land surface temperature estimates in the North and South Basins of Lake Winnipeg using Google Earth Engine code reproduced in the manuscript's Supporting Information. Lake_Winnipeg_North_Basin_py.shp and Lake_Winnipeg_South_Basin_py.shp. Both shapefiles are in the WGS 1984 spatial reference
