AI Governance Foundations is an educational resource series focused on AI governance, risk, compliance, and security. It consists of five modules: Module 1 introduces authority, accountability, risk control, and evidence in AI governance; Module 2 explains the meaning of risk, including residual risk and downstream impact; Module 3 covers the differences and connections among compliance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act, CMMC, and SOC 2; Module 4 discusses AI security issues related to model, data, context, memory, tools, identity, infrastructure, supply chain, and external influence; Module 5 introduces the role of cryptography in AI systems, including confidentiality, integrity, authentication, digital signatures, secure communication, provenance, and key management.
