This study investigates the bacterial communities associated with the roots of four desert plants: Lavandula coronopifolia Poir., Lycium intricatum Boiss., Nitraria retusa Asch. and Searsia tripartita (Ucria) Moffett. Soil samples were collected from arid regions of Morocco, and 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing was conducted to characterize microbial diversity and composition. The goal is to understand microbial adaptation in extreme environments.
