Study the mechanism of action of new ligand that binds to higher-order DNA structures, confirming that it induces DNA damage. We use a well-known DNA damage signalling molecule for immunostaining, a histone phosphorylation marker, gammaH2AX. Conclusion: We see that treatment of cells with azacryptands, TrisNP and TrisPOB, induce gammaH2AX signalling, indicating DNA damage is the main cause of cytotoxicity Notes: Experiments performed in PFA-fixed MCF-7 breat cancer cells. gammaH2AX staining and counter-staining with Anti-rabbit IgG Fab2 Alexa 647nm
