NRS-13843 | Registers of land purchases [Surveyor General]

These registers contain copies of deeds of grant issued in respect of rural land alienated after sale at auction under the provisions of the Australian Colonies Waste Lands Act, 1842, 5 & 6 Vic. c.36 or by tender after the land had been offered for sale at auction and not sold under the provisions of s12 of the Act. They also record land sold at auction under the provisions of the Crown Lands Alienation Act, 1861.There are separate registers for 1857-59 for land situated in the Moreton Bay District (7/1280-84).(7/1280-84, microfilm copy SR Reels 1423-1425). 114 vols.
