资源简介:
The probability of an individual being captured in a single sample from a population plays a pivotal role in how ecological data are collected and interpreted, including estimates of population abundance, individual survival rates, species extinctions, site occupancy, species invasions and range expansion. Capture-Mark-Recapture (CMR) methods provide one of the most reliable means of estimating capture probabilities. A proliferation of CMR studies over the past 50 years has resulted in both clear definition of assumptions surrounding the use of CMR models and to the development of additional models allowing relaxation of these assumptions.
