Single cell RNA sequencing of control and cecal ligation-and puncture mouse kidneys

Differences in gene expression in kidney cell clusters before and after sepsis Overall design: Cecal ligation (1.5cm), puncture with 21g needle, and extrusion of ~1mm of fecal contents into peritoneum. Mice received imipenem/cilastatin at 6 and 18 hours along with fluid resuscitation. Mice harvested at 24 hours. Sham (control) mice received surgery and treatments but without ligation of cecum or extrusion of contents.
