We employed ChIP-seq for the MsnA transcription factor, in three different growth conditions, to identify its in vivo binding position in the genome of the filamentous fungus of A. nidulans. The produced data were then combined with gene expression studies to elucidate the direct target genes of MsnA. Fungal mycelia growing for a) 20 hours vegetatively, b) 6 hours asexually and c) 8 hours sexually, were used as initial material for each of the three ChIP-seq experiments.
