VPRS 9616 Data Base for the Post 1995 Retrieval of General Correspondence Files

This computerised data base was established to identify, list, control and provide for post-1995 retrieval of VPRS 6008 General Correspondence Files. The data bases purpose was to enable successors to the Rural Water Corporation to identify, locate and borrow files which they might need for their continuing operations.The data base recorded summary information about every file in VPRS 6008 which had been raised after about May 1987 or which had been in the possession of the Rural Water Corporations head office after that time.
