资源简介:
This project, known as the Iwaki Health Promotion Project, addresses the urgent public health challenges in Aomori Prefecture, Japan, which has the shortest life expectancy in the country. As Japan faces a super-aging society, promoting health among older adults and reducing medical expenses have become critical social issues. Since 2005, Hirosaki University, Hirosaki City, and the Aomori Prefectural General Health Checkup Center have collaboratively conducted a long-term community-based cohort study in the Iwaki district of Hirosaki City. The project aims to comprehensively assess the health status and risk factors of local residents, focusing on aging-related diseases and lifestyle-related disorders. It also serves as a platform that integrates education, research, and community health practice by involving multidisciplinary professionals to improve residents' health and well-being.
