ENVIRONMENT OF MSMEs' IN RAPID EMERGING ECONOMY: THE CASE OF INDIA

The Micro, Small and Medium sized Enterprise (MSMEs) Sector continue to be a vibrant<br>sector of the Indian economy. This sector contributes nearly 45 per cent of the total industrial production<br>and accounts for approximately 40 per cent of the total exports. This Micro Small and Medium sector has<br>every time making a higher growth rate than the large industries. There are over 6000 products ranging<br>from traditional to high-tech items, which are being manufactured by the small enterprises in India. After<br>agriculture, this sector provides the highest opportunities for both self-employment and jobs in India.
