KZSP: Catalog of Monuments of Art in Poland

200 volumes of the Catalog of Monuments of Art in Poland in your smartphone
A series published since 1951, comprising approx. 200 issues covering ca. 60% of the area of Poland. It is based on an inventory of all monuments of art, excluding museum repositories and private collections (architecture and movable monuments). It constitutes intermediate form between a detailed topographic inventory and a catalogue. Each volume contains rich illustrations as well as measurements of selected monuments of architecture and urban planning. The repository will allow to search the digitized and verified resources which cover all published volumes (available only in a few libraries in paper version) as a set of metadata, generating content and visual materials. In this way, it will enable instant research for the names of artists, owners and all terms and proper names appearing on about 40,000 pages. The locations included in the repository will be integrated with the OpenStreetMap geolocalization system, which will improve functionality.
