Extortion 17 Incident Dataset

This dataset brings together the physics, the terrain, weapon specifications, ballistics and the known capabilities of those fighting in the Tangi Valley on August 6th 2011. All data is based on official reports and other publicly available information. The goal is to offer an explanation for the Extortion 17 shootdown beyond the simple claim, "it was a lucky shot." Latest minor version incorporates strike to ground impact sequence and debris field data plus an in memoriam note. This patch: sound model, effect of ridgeline clarified; support resources link added.
