Whole transcriptome profiling in MR inducible MCF-7 cells after combinations of ligand treatments MR-inducible MCF-7 breast cancer cells were cultured with RPMI + 10% charcoal-stripped heat-inactivated fetal calf serum with or without Dox (1 μg/ml) for 48 h with daily media replacement. Cells were then treated for 6 h with the pure MR agonist, aldosterone (10 nM), all-trans retinoic acid (1 μM), 17β-estradiol (10 nM) or their combination. Samples were done in triplicates.
