Continuous cloud measurements by a lidar ceilometer during the ice breaker Shirase cruise of the 64th Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition

Meteorological observations were made in the Southern Ocean on board the R/V Shirase from December 2022 to March 2023 as a part of the 64th Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE). During the cruise, continuous cloud structures (e.g., cloud base height and linear depolarization ratio) were observed by a lidar ceilometer. When you need data, request by e-mail ([e-mail]).
