Comprehending human mobility patterns is critical for addressing challenges in urban planning, traffic management, and epidemic disease control. Whereas in most undeveloped regions, especially the Global South, costly travel surveys and limited data infrastructures result in the scarcity of reliable mobility information. Here, we leverage neuroGravity, a mobility reconstruction model with superior transferability, to generate mobility networks in over 1,200 cities and regions worldwide.
