The Impact of SS-CPP Treatment on the Gene Expression Profile of MCF-7 Cells

To investigate whether SS-CPP has the potential to inhibit the progression of breast cancer, we examined the changes in gene transcription. The transcriptome results showed that there were 1321 differentially expressed genes, including 575 up-regulated genes and 746 down-regulated genes. The genes altered by SS CPP treatment were significantly enriched in pathways related to cell proliferation, migration, apoptosis, and cancer (P < 0.05). Moreover, qPCR was used to detect the expression of genes related to proliferation and apoptosis in MCF-7 cells treated with the SS CPP group. The results confirmed that the SS-CPP group inhibited the proliferation of MCF - 7 cells and verified the reliability of the sequencing data.
