Research on the Impact of Data Element Marketization on Corporate Specialization Division: Empirical Dataset

This dataset contains all the variables and operational codes required to replicate the empirical results presented in the paper. The core variables are corporate specialized division of labor (VSI1 and VSI2) and data element marketization (DT). The control variables are divided into firm-level and regional-level variables. Firm-level controls include firm size (Size), leverage ratio (Lev), return on total assets (ROA), firm age (Age), market-to-book ratio (MB), cash holdings (Cash), shareholding ratio of the top ten shareholders (Top10), fixed assets ratio (PPE), nature of property rights (SOE), and number of subsidiaries (Subs). Regional-level controls include the level of marketization of the province where the firm is located (Market) and the economic development level of the prefecture-level city where the firm is located (GDP).
