TOGA COARE soundings from Mactan. Version 1.0

This dataset consists of sounding data from Mactan in the Philippines (WMO 98646). Soundings were taken twice per day (00 and 12 UTC) during the IOP. UCAR/JOSS conducted no quality control on these data. The dataset includes pressure, temperature, dew point, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and altitude taken at a variable vertical resolution. Refer to the station README file for details. NOTE: This dataset has been updated (5/2/2002) with corrected data for the humidity measurement errors of the Vaisala RS 80 radiosonde(Wang et al 2002). Please see the README for details.
