Southern Auroral Electrojet Index at 60 sec Resolution

The southern auroral electrojet (SAE) index is constructed from 7 ground magnetometers in the southern auroral region. This data set contains a southern auroral electrojet (SAE) index, a southern auroral lower (SAL) index, and a southern auroral upper (SAU) index. Availability of the SAE index may vary from day to day depending upon magnetometer data availabiliy. SAE indices were only produced when data from all stations were available.
