DEVELOPMENT OF A TEACHER'S PROFESSIONAL CAREER: survey results of stakeholders of the education system (FAIR data)

A survey of 74 employers was conducted to determine the requirements for training future teachers in the context of improving their career development. The employers' responses allowed us to outline the key competencies required for a successful career as a young teacher, as well as to identify priority areas for career development, such as professional development, digital technologies and career opportunities. The importance of pedagogical skills, communication skills and classroom management was highlighted as important aspects.

The importance of introducing career planning skills and personal brand development for teachers was also emphasised, which will help them successfully adapt to changes in the profession and find new career opportunities. Employers highlighted the importance of internships, including mixed and international internships, to improve the practical skills of future teachers.

The survey also revealed the importance of digital competencies for teachers, including the ability to use LMS platforms and online teaching, which are key to modern educational practice.

The survey results provide valuable data for optimising teacher training and career development, which will help increase the competitiveness of graduates in the labour market.
