Aberrant TNF signaling in pancreatic lymph nodes of patients with Type 1 Diabetes

The multiome single-cell profiling assay was performed on the human pancreatic lymph nodes (PLNs) from 13 non-diabetic controls, 8 non-diabetic but islet autoantibody positive (AAb+), and 13 type 1 diabetes (T1D) organ donors along with the the spleen tissues from same donors (12 non-diabetic controls, 8 AAb+, and 11 T1D), to identify immune cell signature in T1D.
