DNA sequencing results of sea surface microlayer samples collected in the Florida Keys from 2018-07-29 to 2018-08-02

Sea surface microlayer and subsurface water samples were collected on polycarbonate membrane filters at the Looe Key coral reef and near Lois Key in a seagrass area in the Florida Keys. Samples were collected on July 29th through August 2nd, 2019. This dataset contains calculations of the abundance of all bacteria on the 220 samples from next-generation sequencing data. Results of bacteria abundance were obtained via sequencing on the Illumina MiSeq at Argonne National Laboratory and analysis was performed using QIIME2. Confidence intervals were calculated using the Wald calculation based off of a negative binomial distribution.
