资源简介:
This dataset contains two-dimensional (2D) wide-angle reflection/refraction seismic data (OBSDZ02) from the southwestern margin of the South China Sea. The data were acquired in March–April 2015 by the R/V Xiangyanghong 10, operated by the Second Institute of Oceanography, Ministry of Natural Resources. The objective of the survey was to investigate the deep crustal structure and to reveal the terminal rifting and seafloor spreading processes of the southwestern South China Sea margin. The profile has a total length of 780 km, along which 30 Ocean Bottom Seismometers (OBS) were deployed at 25 km intervals. Each OBS was equipped with a hydrophone and a three-component geophone, with a sampling interval of 5 ms. The seismic source consisted of four BOLT air guns with a total volume of 8,000 cubic inches, towed at a depth of 10 meters behind the ship. A total of 2,583 shots were fired at intervals of 110/130 seconds. Three instruments (OBS01, OBS03, and OBS26) were not recovered from the seafloor, and an additional nine instruments (e.g., OBS06) did not record usable data. In total, data from 18 OBS with valid records were used. The seismic data in this dataset are in SU format and correspond to the vertical components recorded by the OBS.
