Data and code for: Root exudate chemodiversity bridges acquisitive-conservative strategy synergy between roots and rhizosphere microbes in a subtropical forest

This dataset was generated from a field study conducted in <b>subtropical evergreen broadleaf forests of Motuo County, Xizang, China</b>, involving 13 coexisting tree species. It includes measurements of <b>root exudation rates, metabolite profiles, root functional traits, and rhizosphere microbial diversity</b>, collected to investigate how the quantity and quality of root exudates mediate root–microbe functional synergy along the conservative–acquisitive root economics spectrum.
