This dataset contains the core source code, intermediate data, data processing workflows, and visualization scripts used in the paper titled "A framework for modeling aerosol-cloud-lightning interactions: Validation of charge structure and aerosol effects." This study develops and advances an aerosol-cloud-lightning coupling framework based on the WRF v3.7 model.The main contents of the dataset include:Model source code: A coupled simulation framework integrated with WRF v3.7, incorporating aerosol radiative effects, particle size distribution, and an explicitly coupled electrification and lightning discharge processes.Data processing scripts: Preprocessing code used to extract model output, compute charge density distributions, and statistically analyze key physical quantities such as lightning flash rates.Validation and plotting scripts: Includes all visualization code required to generate the thunderstorm charge structure evolution plots, aerosol sensitivity experiment comparison figures, and model validation graphics presented in the paper, along with the intermediate NPZ files generated during the process.This dataset is intended as a research tool to help further investigate the physical mechanisms of aerosols in severe convective weather and electrical processes.
