资源简介:

This dataset contains experimental results supporting the preprint "Adaptive Path Control in Tangential Micromachining: A Feasibility Study with USP Laser" (Čermák et al., 2025, MM Science Journal). The study investigates the use of adaptive path control (APC) in tangential laser micromachining with ultra-short pulse (USP) lasers, focusing on the optimization of the angle of incidence (AOI) to enhance process performance. The provided data include material removal rate (MRR) measurements under different cutting conditions, specifically varying AOI (10–50°), cutting speeds, and feed per revolution values. Each Excel sheet has been converted into a separate CSV file for ease of reuse. The dataset allows reproduction of the main findings presented in the article, including the impact of AOI and feed per revolution on machining efficiency, as well as detailed path-level MRR (MRRi) analysis. These results provide a foundation for further research into adaptive control strategies for ultra-short pulse laser machining, with potential applications in high-precision manufacturing domains such as medical devices, watchmaking, and microtool production. Contents CSV files with prefixes MRR and MRRi data for different AOI values and cutting conditions CSV file with input data for statistical approach by Kruskal-Wallis Researchers can use these datasets to validate the feasibility of APC strategies, conduct comparative studies, or develop advanced models for intelligent micromachining systems.
