The Directorate Survey in 1996 was conducted as a survey among the employiee of the different ministries in Norway. The questions deal with aspects of working methods, personnel and decision making, in addition to the influence of the EU and EEA organs. Similar surveys were first conducted in 1976, and the 1996 edition is the third time it is implemented. The study is the result of collaboration between ARENA, The Research Council of Norway and the University of Oslo.
