资源简介:
23 lakes were sampled during the summers of 2021 (southern Saskatchewan) and 2022 (northern Saskatchewan and Victoria Island, Nunavut) following a south-north ecogeographical gradient from the prairies through boreal forest into tundra, with objective to better understand how terrestrial ecogeography affects lake’s biogeochemistry. The dataset includes characterisation of dissolved and particulate fractions of organic matter from the lakes’ water columns (i.e., DOC, nutrients, dissolved ions, chlorophyll-a, fatty acid composition, spectral characteristics of DOM, as well as dissolved greenhouse gas concentrations), and surface sediments (lignin content and fatty acids) together with sedimentation rates.
