Data base for terrestrial plasma sheet energy transport

This database provides electromagnetic and kinetic energy transport vectors and satellite location ephemera evaluated from measurements recorded from the MMS-1 spacecraft (Magnetospheric Multi-Scales; Magnetospheric Multiscale (MMS) Mission) through Earth's plasmasheet over the years 2017-2022. Upstream parameters from the OMNI database (SPDF - OMNIWeb Service) and geophysical activity indices from the World Data Center for geomagnetism (WDC for Geomagnetism, Kyoto) are included. The data is in the form of a delimited text file (Energy_Transport_80NSSC21K0580.txt). Vectors are in the GSM (Geocentric Solar Magnetospheric) coordinates and times in the format "yyyy-mm-dd/hh:mm:ss". See file Energy_Transport_Readme.txt for the data quantity definitions and units. The quantities in the database were generated using pre-exiisting SPEDAS (https://spedas.org) software routines operating primarily on calibrated data files from the MMS data repository (MMS Science Data Center).
