List of species that share identical (100% similarity) 12S ribosomal RNA MiFish-U barcode sequences. Sequences were obtained and compared as follows: 1) Whole mitochondrial genomes were downloaded from the MitoFish database (Sato et al. 2018); 2) Whole mitochondial genomes were imported into the software CRABS (Jeunen G-J et al. 2023); 3) In silico PCR were conducted using the MiFish-U primer set (Miya et al, 2015); 4) The database was dereplicated; 5) A custom python script was used to confirm that different species share the same barcode sequence
