Resistance to androgen blockers has been a persistent problem in prostate cancer therapy. The need for nontoxic carriers with efficient site-specific release has led to the development of the elastin-based nanogel. The study focuses on the preliminary aspects of the said carrier, such as the characterisation of physical and interactive properties, along with its toxicological effects in zebrafish embryos by way of developmental morphological assessment and key regulatory gene expression analysis.
