Breakdown of electricity sources in Northwest Territories, Canada 2023

As of July 2023, hydropower and petroleum together accounted for about 84 percent of the electricity produced in the Canadian province of Northwest Territories. Although hydro and oil generated the majority of power in that period of time, natural gas and wind power are other sources of electricity in the region.
