The forecasting method used is based on Similar Day Approach. The algorithm used sauch days for training which are similar to the day for which forecast has to be done. Similar days are found out using L2 norm considering the load as well as weather profiles. Only those are used for training are close with respect to both- load profile wise and weather wise. Forecast values are found out using by fitting a linear regression model on this trainign dataset.
