Meridional velocity outputs from NEMO simulations with different depth of intrusion of iceberg meltwater

This dataset contains ocean meridional velocity data from two simulations carried out with NEMO, ANHA4-EJM010 (VS) and ANHA4-EJM012 (VD), covering the period 2007–2017 over the ANHA4 model domain. The simulations use the ANHA4 configuration of the NEMO ocean model at 1/4° horizontal resolution. The two experiments differ in terms of how iceberg meltwater is released: ANHA4-EJM010 (VS) introduces iceberg meltwater in the first ocean level, whereas in ANHA4-EJM012 (VD) iceberg meltwater is released through depth, along the icebergs' keel. The data is provided in NumPy compressed (.npz) format and is intended to support the reproduction of the speed, volume/freshwater/phosphate transport and barotropic streamfunction analyses.
