Data on the uptake of ART before, during, and after the COVID-19 period in Sierra Leone

Data was extracted on August 20, 2023, from the District Health Management System 2 (DHIS2), a national health management information systems database consisting of secondary aggregate data collected monthly from health facilities providing HIV services. Information collected from patients is aggregated and transmitted to the districts in a de-identified format and then entered in the DHIS2. Data recording and reporting primarily use a paper-based system, except for a few facilities that have hybrid systems.
