RECONSTRUCTING UZBEKISTAN'S ROADS TO MODERN STANDARDS: CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the process of reconstructing automobile roads in the Republic of Uzbekistan according to modern standards. The essence of recent reforms, including the President's Decree PQ-330, the “Roads-2030” strategy, the introduction of the “volume method”, and the engineer-consultant institution, is highlighted. Along with the technological principles of reconstruction (Intelligent Transport Systems, sustainable materials), the article explores current challenges such as financing and shortage of qualified personnel. Proposals for studying international experience, developing local production, and strengthening personnel training programs are presented as future prospects. The article aims to demonstrate the importance of modernizing road infrastructure for the country's economic development, regional integration, and citizen well-being.
