Serum metabolomics analysis of colon cancer

Colon cancer (CC) is one of the malignant tumors with high incidence and mortality rates in the worldwide, necessitating innovative diagnostic tools to improve early detection and management. This study developed a large-scale targeted metabolomics method employing ultra high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with Q-TRAP mass spectrometry to identify new metabolite biomarkers for CC.
