An autotrophic sulfide-oxidizing bacteria consortium capable of producing elemental sulfur from sulfide was isolated from a post-mining waste. The bacteria consortium was passaged in a synthetic medium containing thiosulfate as the sulfur source and electron donor. We uploaded the sequence to public for those who are interested in and working in a similar field.
